Role Overview

We are seeking a talented individual to join our team and play a pivotal role in our business. This position involves crafting engaging content across a range of digital channels to strengthen our brand, share our story, and inspire more people to embrace cycling.

The role offers plenty of variety, from capturing content in stunning outdoor locations to shoots at our HQ and workshop, collaborating with our Pathfinders and influencers, as well as producing studio-based and product-focused material.

We’re looking for someone who’s eager to bring their creative skills to life, thrives on new challenges, and is excited to be part of a dynamic outdoor and bicycle-focused company. The position also includes creating additional visual and written content, such as blog posts and newsletters.

As societies transition to green modes of transport, bikes will be a big part of the future. Temple is a UK-based designer and maker of high quality bikes and electric bikes. Founded in 2014, Temple has been growing year after year, with the mission to become an iconic and global bicycle brand with an emphasis on sustainability, timeless products, and encouraging more and more people to experience the joys of cycling.

Role Responsibilities

Primary Role: Content Creation & Development

• Plan, shoot, and edit visual content, such as videos, photos, and reels, for various platforms (Instagram, YouTube, website).
• Develop creative concepts for campaigns with the Head of Marketing and Creative Director, ensuring they align with brand goals and strategy.
• Create graphics and visual assets using design tools like Adobe Creative Suite or Figma.
• Optimise & re-purpose creative content for specific channels, considering platform best practices and audience behaviour.
• Track the performance of content and campaigns. Use insights to refine and improve content strategies.
• Schedule and post content to our channels, including writing caption copy.
• Work collaboratively to make content with our Temple Pathfinders and any external content contributors. 

Secondary Role: Marketing Support 

• Assist in responding to comments and direct messages on our social media accounts, fostering community engagement.
• Craft newsletter content and write copy for our blog.

Role Requirements 

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

• Very strong photography and videography skills, including planning, shooting, editing, and post-production.
• Proven success in content creation, social media management, or a similar creative role.  (Ideally for a premium lifestyle brand or another bike brand).
• Familiarity with design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Figma and Canva.
• Experience with social media platforms (Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Facebook, Titok) and an understanding of platform-specific best practices.
• An organised workflow, and experience filing assets in a content library with proper naming and tagging to keep files organised and easily accessible.
• A keen eye for aesthetics and detail.
